Nancy Love Venable

Nancy Love Venable was born October 26, 1937 in Floyd, Iowa and she passed away at her residence in Gainesboro on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 86.

She was the daughter of Roland  Franklin Polhamus and Amy Kelley Polhamus.  Mrs. Venable was a sheep farmer and a member of the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church.  On May 18, 2012 she married Thomas George Venable for 11 years of marriage.

She wsa preceded in death by her parents, son, Eddy Scott Faron, sister, Patty Smalley and half-brother, Bert Kelley.

Survivors include her husband Thomas George Venable of Gainesboro; daughters, Anita Courtamanche of Baldwynville, Mass, Diana LeMieur of Leominister, Mass and Teresa York of Gainesboro; 12 grandchildren along with other relatives and friends also survive.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 beginning at 11 am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Dr. Joe Beavon officiating.
