Nancy Elizabeth Elkins

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Elkins, 87, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Elkins passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born September 9, 1920, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Dave and Lena Belle Pryor. On December 24, 1936, she was married to the late Henry Elkins, who passed away January 31, 2001. She was a cook at the City Caf in Gainesboro, TN, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters. Survivors include 1 Son: Howard Elkins of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Ruth Lynn of Celina, TN; 2 Grandsons: Steve and David Elkins; 3 Great-Granddaughters: Krystal, Tiffany, and Victoria Elkins; and 1 Sister: Marie Scott of Cookeville, TN.
