Funeral services for Mr. Mounce Smith III, 34, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 noon - 9 P. M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN. He was born November 12, 1975, in Jackson County, TN, to Mounce A. Smith II and Mary Hix Smith. On August 2, 1996, he was married to Amanda Fox Smith, who survives. He was an auto body technician, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Mounce A. "Buster" Smith I and Ruth Jackson Smith; and his Maternal Grandparents: John and Estelle McCoin Hix. Survivors include his Wife: Amanda Fox Smith of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Dustin Cain Smith of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Kristin Paige Smith and Holly Elizabeth Smith, all of Gainesboro, TN; and his Parents: Mounce A. Smith II and Mary Hix Smith of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Randy Bybee and Lakelan Barham will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Smith Family by contacting the funeral home.
