Funeral services for Mr. Morris C. Smith, 74, of Miamisburg, Ohio, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the Miamisburg First Church of God in Miamisburg, Ohio. Graveside services will follow on Friday, March 9, 2012, at 2:30 P.M. in the Peek Cemetery in the Harmony community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel in Kettering, Ohio, on Wednesday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. He passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was born December 21, 1937, in Tennessee, to the late Clifton Smith and Josie Smith. He was married for 56 years to Wiladene Smith, who survives. He was a Master Mason of Minerva Lodge #98, Miamisburg, 32 degree Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and a member of Antioch Shrine, Dayton. Survivors include his Wife: Wiladene Smith of Miamisburg, OH; Sons: Randall C. (Julie) Smith and Gary D. (Mary Ellen) Smith; Grandson: Shawn D. Smith; and Sisters-in-Law: Marie Wicker and Louise Slone. Many other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the graveside service.
