Funeral services for Mrs. Modine Lynn Pruett, 92, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born August 10, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Shelby Lynn and Molly Goad Lynn. She was married to the late Fred Pruett, who passed away November 18, 2012. She was a homemaker, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Infant Daughter; 1 Grandson: Jeffery Rex Pruett; 2 Sisters: Lorene Davis and Ann Lynn Allen; 1 Brother: Junior Lynn; her Step Mother: Brina Lynn; and Brothers and Sisters in Law: F.C. and Louise Pruett, Mable Pruett, and Jonah and Lola Stafford. Survivors include 1 Son: James W. (Cindy) Pruett of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Mary L. Pruett and Mildred Phann (Jimmy Jones), both of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Crystal (Brandon) Bean, Tiffany Pruett, and Tiona Pruett; 2 Great Grandchildren: Olivia Bean and Carlee Bean; 2 Brothers: Joe (Linda) Lynn of Willette, TN, and Lester Fred Lynn of Lafayette, TN; and 7 Sisters: Helen (Roy) Kernell, Faye (Phil) Kernell, and Frances and A.B. Murphy, all of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Bobbie Lynn and Winnie B. (Ken) Craighead, both of Gainesboro, TN, Gail (David) Brown of Lebanon, TN, and Patricia (Stephen) Powers of Lafayette, TN.
