Funeral services for Mr. Mitchell Jackson, 93, of the Stone community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. He was born March 19, 1922, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Sell and Lizzie Jackson. On January 18, 1947, he was married to Louise Glover Jackson, who passed away on October 21, 2011. He was a farmer, he served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, and he was a member of the Stone Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his 4 Brothers: Ray, George Clay, Curtis, and Kerman Jackson; and 3 Sisters: Ethel May Brown, Lucille Jenkins, and Pauline Conklin. Survivors include 1 Son: Larry Ray Jackson and wife, Jennie of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Granddaughters: Gina (Bobby) Brown of Gainesboro, TN, and Tonya O'Neill of Baxter, TN; and 2 Great-Grandchildren: Jackson and Cameron Delaney O'Neill.
