Milton "Karl" Hamlet

Mr. Milton "Karl" Hamlet went peacefully to be with the Lord on February 25, 2025 with family by his side at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Karl was born on March 21, 1960 to the late John and Minnie Hamlet in Gainesboro, TN.

Mr. Hamlet was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle that loved life, racing, football hockey, gardening, building and tinkering with things.

He married the love of his life, Joanne Kosecki Hamlet on May 28, 1985 in Bay City, Michigan after completing his service in the US Army.

Mr. Hamlet was survived by his wife of 39 years, Joanne, son, Andrew "Andy" Hamlet (Nicole Hawkins); daughter, Megan Hamlet (Trey Cunningham); 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Destiny, Madison and Parker; 3 grand fur babies, brother, Roger Hamlet; 4 sisters, Pam Henry, Patty (Gary) Davis, Susie Burton and Sandy Warren; in laws, Kay (Jim) Wiseman, Mike (Pam) Campau, Mary Campau, Mary Ellen Smith, Bill (Renee) Kosecki, Gerrianne Lincoln, (Tim Tobin),  Janice (Gary) Rajewski, April (Jody) Webb and a host of nieces, nephews and co-workers.

Karl was preceded in death by his mother and father along with niece, Amanda Henry Mosley, sister-in-law, Sandy Hamlet; brothers in law, Pat Campau and Rick Lincoln.

Memorial donations can be made to the donor's choice by contacting the business office of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.

As per Mr. Hamlet request the family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be at a later date.
