Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred M. Clark, 91, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and formerly of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at NHC Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born November 2, 1919, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Brockett Draper and Minnie A. Draper. She was married to the late Roggie W. Clark, who passed away April 3, 1985. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: David Jack Clark; 1 Brother: Selton Draper; and 1 Sister: Alma Newberry. Survivors include 1 Son: Joe M. (Elizabeth) Clark of Cookeville, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Heather (Derrick) Carter of Lakeland, TN; 2 Great Grandchildren: Camden and Cara Carter; and several nieces and nephews. Bro.
