Mildred Kennedy Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Kennedy Anderson, 97, of the Stone community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 19, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 - 8 P.M. and Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at the Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born May 4, 1909, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Peyton & Lou Willmore Kennedy. On January 21, 1934, she was married to the late J.T. Anderson, who passed away on October 25, 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stone Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband: J.T. Anderson; her parents: Peyton & Lou Willmore Kennedy; 1 Son: Jimmy Anderson; 3 Brothers: Goldman Kennedy, Charles Kennedy, and Oliver Kennedy; and 2 Sisters: Lexie Perkins and Lorelle Anderson. Survivors include 2 Grandchildren: Lauri Anderson Hoover of Charlotte, N.C., and Richard Craig Anderson of Breckinridge, CO; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Rachel Emily Hoover, Amanda Anderson Hoover, and Jamison Patrick Hoover; 1 Daughter-in- Law: Ann Anderson of Decatur, AL; and 2 Nieces: Nancy Anderson of Gainesboro, TN, and Sarah Perkins of Hartsville, TN.
