Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Carwile Lee, 86, of Hilham, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery in Hilham, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. She was born June 6, 1931, in Overton County, TN, to the late J.T. Carwile and Flora Pitcock Carwile. She was married to the late Charlie Lee. She was a factory worker in the garment industry. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Gary Wayne Lee; 1 Brother: Marvin Carwile; and 3 Sisters: Madeline Carwile, Mary Ellen Carwile, and Mallie Carwile. Survivors include 1 Son: Edwin (Brenda) Lee of Hilham, TN; 1 Daughter: Sharon Hawkins of Hilham, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Chris Lee, Heather Grant, and Shawn Hawkins; 4 Great Grandchildren: Jarrett Lee, Madison Lee, Eddie Grant, and Bill Grant; 2 Brothers: Larry Carwile of Livingston, TN, and Ed Carwile of Dyersburg, TN; 1 Sister: Myrtle Allen of Hilham, TN; and Special Caregiver: Margarett Walker of Clarkrange, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association by contacting the funeral home.
