Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred A. Davidson, 75, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, March 5, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 Noon - 9 P. M., and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born September 24, 1934, in Haysi, VA, to the late Fred and Ruby Stallard. She was married to the late Marshall L. Davidson, who passed away November 29, 1987. She was a business woman, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Gainesboro, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: John (Johnny) Lynn Davidson; 2 Brothers: Johnny and Jerry Stallard; and 2 Sisters: Margaret Stallard and Glenna Branham. Survivors include 3 Sons: Jimmy (Karen) Davidson of Gainesboro, TN, Marshall Davidson of Lebanon, TN, and Kenneth Ray Davidson of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Donna Parks of Beaverton, MI; 2 Brothers: Benny Stallard of Haysi, VA, and Larry Stallard of Owensboro, KY; and 2 Sisters: Diane Davis of Haysi, VA, and Mary Viers of Carol, MI. 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren also survive.
