He was the son of the late Grover Cecil Stafford and Flora May Stafford. He was disabled the majority of his adult life.
Survivors include his daughter: Angela Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; brothers: James (Helen) Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, Grover Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, Danny Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; sisters: Dece Key of Cookeville, TN; Mary Lou Carmack of Gainesboro, TN; and mother: Flora May Stafford of Gainesboro, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father: Grover Cecil Stafford; wife: Shirley Stafford; brother: Bobby Stafford of Gallatin, TN; sister: Dottie Jean Dawes of Gainesboro, TN.
