Michael Ward Davis

Michael Ward Davis was born November 18, 1966 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 54. Michael was the son of Jackie Ward Davis and Peggy June Stafford Ward. He was a member of the Free State Church of Christ and a factory worker. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, Paul Ward, paternal grandparents, Ottis and Christine Davis and maternal grandparents James and Ruby Stafford. Survivors include his son, Jacob Ward (Macy) Davis of Cookeville, mother, Peggy Ward of Gainesboro, Sister, Shelia (Daryl) Roberts of Gainesboro, grandchild, Nova Lee Davis of Cookeville, siblings, Randy (Becky) Ward of Shelby, OH, Jason (Stacey) Ward of Mansfield, OH, Stacey (Tommy) Kernel of Gainesboro, Paula (John) Lewis of Laurel, Miss. Bobby (Kathy) Ward of Hilham; niece, Kayla Bostic and nephews, D J and Evan Roberts. Other relatives and many friends also survive. The family has chosen cremation to honor Michael's wishes. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 1 P.M. at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery, with Ken Lewis officiating.
