Memorial services for Michael Paul Rainey, 51, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 4 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. He passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1970, in Rockledge, FL, to the late Larry Wilburn Rainey and Paulette Martin Rainey. He was employed by HVAC as a Service Tech for over 25 years. He was a member Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by father, maternal grandparents: James and Dean Martin, paternal grandparents: Wilburn and Hazel Rainey, and father-in-law, Mark Carlisle. Survivors include spouse, Melanie Rainey of Bloomington Springs, 1 Son: Paul Rainey of Brandon, FL, 2 Daughters: Marissa Rainey and Mallorie Rainey both of Bloomington Springs, mother, Paulette Rainey of Gainesboro, TN, mother-in-law, Marie Carlisle of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 2 Sisters: Michele Harley, Zephyrhills, FL and Nicole Aldape, Brandon, FL, other survivors: aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews along with other family and friends. Bro. Randy Heady will officiate at the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Mallorie Rainey Education Fund by contacting the funeral home.
