Graveside services for Mr. Michael E. Hammock, Sr. 53, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 12 noon on April 24, 2015 at the Hammock Family Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. There will be no visitation or services at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. He passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born August 15,1961 in Jackson County, TN, to Stella Mae Rhoten and the late Elmer Hammock. He was a factory worker in the furniture industry and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Benna Clay Hammock. He is survived by 2 Sons: Michael E. Hammock, Jr. and Joshua Hammock, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Shanna Hammock of McMinnville, TN; Mother: Stella Mae Rhoten of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Donnie Hammock of Gainesboro, TN; Jackie F. Hammock of Hilham, TN; and Jimmy Wayne Hammock of Chattanooga, TN; and 3 Sisters: Jeannie Mae (Charles) Scott, Kathy Phann, and Deborah (Junior) Phann, all of Gainesboro, TN. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
