Funeral services for Michael D. Dyer, 63, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. - 7 P.M., and Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019, at his residence. He was born June 24, 1956, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Carmen Dyer and Marilyn Dyer. He was the owner of Giovanni's Pizza and Italian Restaurant in Gainesboro, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Richard Dyer; 1 Sister: Karen Dyer; the Mother of his children: Teresa Dyer; and 1 Brother in Law: Carlos Mahan. Survivors include 1 Son: Michael Bryan (Marlana) Dyer of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Brittany Dyer of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Nicholas (Kinsey) Lemmons, Michael Ayden Dyer, Ethyn Dyer, and Vivian George; 2 Sisters: Susan Mahan and Sharon (Jeff) Loftis, all of Baxter, TN; 1 Sister in Law: Sherry Dyer of Baxter, TN; and his Best Friend and Business Partner: Jim (Faye) Jackson of Cookeville, TN.
