Michael Charles Birdwell

Funeral services for Michael Charles Birdwell, 70, of Baxter, TN, will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Sam Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Road. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Signature Health Care in Algood, TN. He was born August 3, 1950, in Detroit, MI, to the late Charles Birdwell and Elise Huddleston Birdwell. He was retired from General Motors, and enjoyed researching the genealogy of the Birdwell and Huddleston families. Survivors include 1 Son: Timothy Birdwell of Forrest City, Arkansas; and 1 Brother: Randy (Michelle) Birdwell of Michigan. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive. Bro. Mike Webb will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sam Flatt Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
