Melissa "Missy" West

Funeral services for Melissa "Missy" West, 44, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., Wednesday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A. M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 18, 1968, in Nashville, TN, to Winnie B. Craighead and the late Edward Tom Frizzell. She worked in registration at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Charles "Hub" and Frances Frizzell; and her Maternal Grandparents: Shelby and Brina Lynn. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Sydney West of Gainesboro, TN; her Parents: Winnie B. and Ken Craighead of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Jimmy (Cara) Frizzell of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Half-Brother: Daniel Frizzell of Hartsville, TN; 1 Half- Sister: Tommie (Scott) Newland of White House, TN; 1 Step- Sister: Bobbie (Tim) Farmer of Hendersonville, TN; 3 Nieces: Lindsey (Erich) Gentry, Lacey (Charles) Cooper, Paige (Curtis) Jones; 3 Great Nieces: Lola, Harper, and Ollie; and 2 Great Nephews: Kade and Cash. Several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Duane Gossett, Bro. Matthew Scoggins, and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
