MB Ragland

MB Ragland was born February 10, 1944, in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 81.

She was the daughter of Troy B Haney and Lina Zo Mayberry Haney.  MB married Ted Gordon Ragland on April 24, 1965. They were married for over 50 years. She was a dedicated homemaker for years.  Also, MB worked in the school cafeteria and the shirt factory. She was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. 

Mrs. MB was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ted Gordon Ragland who passed away August 16, 2015; brothers: KB Haney, Charles Haney, infant baby Haney; sisters: Vena Cantrell, Cora Loftis and IV Byers.

Survivors include sons: Teddy (Rachel) Ragland of Gainesboro, TN, David (Jaime) Ragland of Cookeville, TN; sister: Marie Johnson of Gainesboro, TN; grandchildren: Peyton (Hillary) Ragland of Cookeville, TN, Hannah (Travis) Jackson of Cookeville, TN, Brady Ragland of Chattanooga, TN, Carson Ragland of Cookeville, TN, and Lily Ragland of Cookeville, TN; great grandchildren: Bryce Ragland, Kyler Ragland, Zaidyn Jackson and Haislee Jackson.   Several other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.  Also, visitation will continue on Friday May 23, 2025, from 12 pm until time of services.  Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. John Mabery and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Byers Cemetery.
