Mattie Louis Roberts

Mattie Louis Roberts was born on January 10, 1930, in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Gainesboro, TN at the age of 95.

She was the daughter of Ruben Fowler Ellis and Dora Lee Johnson Ellis. Mattie Married the late Raymond H. Roberts on October 5, 1946. She worked at the Gainesboro Carpet Store for years. She was a member of the Cubb Church of Christ.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Raymond H. Roberts who passed away July 9, 2016; daughter: V. Anita Solomon.

Survivors include her son: Tim Roberts of Gainesboro, TN, grandchildren: Vanna Dodson, Stephen (Laura) Solomon, Paul (Beverly) Solomon and Brandon Givens; 6 great grandchildren; special friend: Linda Cherry and several other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Also, visitation will continue on Wednesday May 28, 2025, from 10 am until time of services. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. John Sisco officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery.
