Matthew Sircy

Matthew Aaron Sircy, 48 years old passed away on December 11, 2025. 

Matthew was born October 14, 1977 in Gainesboro, TN to Peggy Gailbreath Sircy and Jerry Lillard Sircy. Matthew Aaron Sircy was known for his love of music. He was a drummer and played the guitar. He played in many bands throughout his life. 

Matthew is survived by daughter Destiny Aaron Sapp (Collin Sapp), sons Max Alexander Wingfield, and Drake Patrick Wingfield, and daughter Killian Anderson Gray Sircy. Grand-daughter Eleanor Lucille Sapp. Sister Angel Sircy Mathis(Michael), brother Anthony Michael Sircy. Niece Jessica Wylie (Scottie), Kyle Wylie (Jaclyn), Kent Mathis. Great nephews Jonathan and Jeremiah Ledbetter, and great niece Katelynn Ledbetter who will forever carry his music, his lessons, and his love with them. 

He was preceded in death by mother Peggy Gailbreath Sircy, father Jerry Lillard Sircy, aunt Betty Gailbreath Moore.

The family will have visitation from 1:00PM until 3:00 pm on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026  with a Celebration of Life on Saturday January 3, 2026 at 3:00PM at Gainesboro First United Methodist Church located at 302 S Main Street Gainesboro TN 38562. The family have chosen to have him cremated. The family asks if you feel led to donate to Jackson County Middle School  Band by contacting the funeral home.
