Funeral services for Mathew Joshua Jacobs, 26, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Cookeville, TN. He was born March 14, 1991, in Bay City, MI, to Bill Jacobs and Darlene Jacobs. On December 12, 2012, he was married to Candice Jacobs, who survives. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He loved all of his family, and all of his family loved him. Survivors include his Wife: Candice Jacobs of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: Liam Jacobs and Ivan Jacobs; 1 Daughter: Layla Jacobs; his Parents: Bill and Darlene Jacobs of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Richard Jacobs, Michael (Amber) Jacobs, and Robert (Chasiti) Jacobs; 3 Sisters: Christina (BJ) Brown, Cassey Jacobs, and Kayla Jacobs; and his Paternal Grandparents: William L. Jacobs, Sr., Mary Jacobs, and Sue Burgess. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive.
