Mary Willine Long was born February 21, 1937 in Baxter, TN and she passed away at her residence in Cookeville on May 24, 2024 at the age of 87.
Mary was the daughter of Willis Montgomery and Betty N. Proffitt. She was a seamstress.
Preceded in death by her parents; Son Ricky Dale Long; brothers, Willie Howard Montgomery, Ernest Montgomery , Bill Montgomery and James Douglas Montgomery; sister, Barbara Ann Montgomery and Roberta Meadows.
Survivors include her sons Roger Phillip Long, Ronnie Gale Long, Richard Dennis Long; daughter Rose Misiewicz; sisters, Elizabeth and Nelavoid. 9 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2024, 5-6 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with memorial services beginning at 6 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Fox officiating.
