Mary Pippin Sisk

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Pippin Sisk, 64, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, November 28, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., Thursday from 10 A.M. - 3 P.M., and Friday from 9 A.M until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born January 16, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Claude and Zina Lou Petty Pippin. On October 27, 1971, she was married to Jerry Sisk, who survives. She was a home health nurse, and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Ralph "Frosty' Pippin and Richard Pippin; 2 Sisters: Peggy Pippin and Sue Seat; and 1 Niece: Jamie Seabolt. Survivors include her Husband: Jerry Sisk of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Ray (Opal) Pippin of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Barbara Cunningham of Gainesboro, TN; Special Nieces: Brenda Spivey, Jackie Jenkins, Phyllis Heady, Kim Manning, and Shannon Johnson.
