Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Margaret Young, 61, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, February 19, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Burris Cemetery off Cummins Mill Road in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Young passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born October 8, 1945, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Gilbert and Claudie Flatt Kinnaird. On April 26, 1969, she was married to the late John H. (Johnny) Young, who passed away November 18, 2006. She was a retired cafeteria worker at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center and a member of the Zion Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Finnis and Glen Kinnaird; and 1 Infant Daughter: Mary Kathleen Young. Survivors include 2 Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Kevin and Beth Young of Baxter, TN, and Philip and Michelle Young of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Melanie and James Hammons of Cookeville, TN, and Angela and Gerald Stewart of Cookeville, TN; 15 Grandchildren: Melissa, David, Derek, Ty, Jerry, and Dalton Hammons; Malea, Haley, and Logan Young; Taylor, Shelby, and Justin Warren; and Chelsea, Kyle, and Rebecca Young; 2 Brothers: James (Shirley) Kinnaird of Cookeville, TN, and Harold (Donna) Kinnaird of Cookeville, TN; and 7 Sisters: Louise (Morgan) Allen, Irene (Woody) Gore, Thelma Ford, and Elfrida (Larry) Farley, all of Cookeville, TN; Geneva Ayers of Lebanon, TN; Inell (Eddie) Edwards of Sandy, Utah; and Kathy (Richard) Knight of Flintville, TN.
