Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Denton, 86, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. to 9 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN. She was born March 26, 1929, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Oliver Leslie Netherton and Eliza Rush Netherton. She was married to the late Bill Frank Denton, who passed away July 19, 1993. She was a retired employee of Heavy Duty Mfg., and a member of the Lakeview Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Bob Willis Netherton and Willard Lee Netherton; 2 Half-Brothers: Oliver Ray Netherton and Ermon Netherton; 1 Half-Sister: Patricia Ann Donovan; and 1 Step-Brother: Clay Eades. Survivors include 1 Son: Ronnie Denton and Susie L. Rueve of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Brenda (Ronald) Dill of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Grandchild: Kayla Michelle Dill of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Half-Brother: Bill Wayne Netherton of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Thelma Dennis of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Half-Sisters: Delia Martin of Detroit, MI, Marie Martin of Baxter, TN, Lorene Lawson of Gainesboro, TN, and Betty Sue Aberant of PA. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Edward Anderson and Bro. Don Bryant will officiate at the services.
