Mary Leitha Brown Rodgers was born December 30, 1963 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 59.
She was the daughter on J.B. and A.V Johnson Brown. She was a waitress and a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard Rodgers, son, Jason Corey Rodgers, brothers, Gary Lee Brown, Ricky Dwight Brown and Ronnie Wayne Brown; sisters, Cora Elizabeth (Tooter) Garrett and Martha Ann Loftis; maternal grandparents, Sanford and Lizzie Haney Johnson and paternal grandparents, Ed Lee and Cora Bell Jones Brown.
Survivors include her son, Steven Lee Rodgers of Buffalo Valley; brother, Jerry Brown of Baxter; sisters, Janice Haugk, Versie (Kenneth) Derossitt both of Silver Point and Margie (Steve) Moore of Sparta, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
The family has chosen cremation with graveside services to be announced at a later date.
