Mary Kinnaird Ramsey

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Kinnaird Ramsey, 72, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Ramsey passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. She was born March 6, 1936, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Thurman and Lavada Judd Kinnard. On April 29, 1950, she was married to the late Lee Morgan Ramsey. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Zion Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Roger Dale and Morgan Mark Ramsey; 1 Daughter: Wilma Kay Ramsey; and 1 Sister: Juanita Palk. Survivors include 1 Son: Richard Wayne (Brenda) Ramsey of Cookeville, TN; 4 Daughters: Beverly (Dale) Crossman, Sheila (Eddie) Smith, Mary Ann Wilson, and Pamela Ramsey, all of Cookeville, TN; 5 Brothers: Dawson, Carlon, Charles and David Kinnaird all of Cookeville, TN; and Ralph Kinnaird of Brandon, Mississippi; 4 Sisters: Anna Ruth Bean of Dayton, Ohio; Peggy Sparks, Margaret Chaffin, and Barbara (Deanie) Bowman, all of Cookeville, TN; 10 Grandchildren: Crystal Brazelton, Benjamin Crossman, Elizabeth Crossman, Tabitha Abbott, Alison Wilber, Matthew Smith, Marcie Ackerman, Christopher Wilson, Courtney Wilson, and Logan Ramsey; and 9 Great - Grandchildren. Bro. Ted Gaw and Bro. Don Chaffin will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the India Mission Fund, Happy Haven, or the Netherland Church of Christ Building Fund.
