Mary Jean Biggs

Mary Jean Bryant Biggs was born June 9, 1949 in Putnam County, TN and she passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 76.

She was the daughter of Clyde Elmer Bryant and Ruth Mae Lindner Bryant.  Mrs. Biggs worked as a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert "Shoes" Biggs; son, Jeff Harris; brothers, Charles Bryant and Ricky Bryant; sisters, Rhonda Edmunds, Wanda Bryant and Katherine Chaffin.

Survivors include son, Chris (Patricia Short) Harris of Chestnut Mound, TN; brother, Terry (Teresa) Bryant of Baxter, TN; sisters, Betty (Rick) Herron and Carol (Gene) Elrod both of Baxter, TN; grandchildren, Cody Harris of Cookeville, Melinda (Kaleb Crosslin) Scott of Whitleyville, Robin (Zack) Stallings of Elmwood, and Ciara (Ian) Bass of Baxter; great grandchildren, Lawson, Layton, Ravyn, Zaylee and Adelyn.  Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 11 am  to 12:45 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville Community with Bro. Caleb Bryant officiating.
