Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Napier, 76, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born August 18, 1937, in Hazard, KY, to the late Bob Williams and Mary Couch Williams. She was married to the late Hiram Napier. She was a homemaker, and a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse in Indianapolis, IN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Freddie Napier, Bobby Napier, and Timothy Napier; 1 Daughter: Rufena "Sis" Napier; 3 Sisters; and 1 Brother. Survivors include 1 Son: Joe Napier of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Beatrice Napier (Paul) Adcock of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Joshua Napier of Scottsburg, IN, Benjamin (Dawn) Capps of Dayton, TN, and Cloe Napier of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Brothers; 3 Sisters; and 2 Great Grandchildren.
