Mary Garrison Mabry

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jean Garrison Mabry, 76, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P. M., Saturday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A. M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at her residence. She was born February 9, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lewis Martin, Sr. and Mary Belle Martin. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her First Husband: Fowler Garrison; her Second Husband: Walter Mabry; 1 Grandson: Garry J. Thomas, Jr.; 2 Sisters: Aline Chaffin and Ida Spurlock; and 1 Brother: Billy H. Martin. Survivors include 2 Sons: Bobby Ray "Bud" (Stella) Garrison of McMinnville, TN, and Larry Wayne (Lisa) Garrison of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Barbara (Mike) Stafford of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Shaun (Julie) Thomas of Gainesboro, TN; Missy Thomas, Cody Garrison, and Cayla Garrison, all of Cookeville, TN; 4 Step-Grandchildren: Shawn (Randy) Spivey and Matthew (Ashley) Stafford, all of Gainesboro, TN; Vicki Marsh and Royce Marsh, both of McMinnville, TN; 1 Great Grandchild: Emma Thomas; 5 Step Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kaleb, and Kristen Young, Neylan Spivey, and Ava Stafford; 2 Brothers: Lewis (Agnes) Martin, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN, and Hollis (Doris) Martin of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Sister: Reba (Charles) Hopkins of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister-in-law: Clella Martin of Gainesboro, TN.
