Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Young, 75, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery on Sugartown Lane in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born June 18, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jimmy Johnson and Pearlie Mayberry Johnson. On September 12, 1959, she was married to the late Houston Clay "Hugh" Young, Sr., who passed away October 6, 2011. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Houston Clay Young, Jr.; 1 Sister: Zella Johnson Charles; and 3 Brothers: Ernest, Pete, and Robert Johnson. Survivors include 3 Sons: Greg Young of Cookeville, TN, Alan (Sherrie) Young of Cookeville, TN, and Ron Young of Jackson County, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Skyler, Keagan,, Alan, Jr., Justin, Ron, Jr., Nicholas, and Ashley Young; and 1 Sister: Velma Hix of Gainesboro, TN.
