Mary Chaffin Myers

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lucinda Chaffin Myers, 83, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M., and on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at her residence. She was born May 1, 1932, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Norman Chaffin and Hattie Harris Chaffin. On September 19, 1959, she was married to Billy W. Myers, who survives. She was a general store clerk, and an artist who loved painting. She was a member of the Bagdad Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: David Eugene Myers; 1 Brother: Perry N. Chaffin; and 1 Sister: Jamie Chaffin Hix. Survivors include her Husband: Billy W. Myers of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Stephanie N. (Peter E.) Konrad of Franklin, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Tabitha Renee Warren and Derek M. Myers, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters: Matilda Craighead of Cookeville, TN, Geraldine (Jon) Collins of Portland, TN, and Velma Jo (Gary) Norton of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Mike Lish, Bro. Guy Holliman, and Bro. Hubert Jones will officiate at the services.
