Mary Chaffin Bull

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary D. Chaffin Bull, 85, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Frank Chaffin and Lizzie Lawson Chaffin. On April 14, 1950, she was married to the late Plas T. Bull, who passed away December 9, 1994. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ of the Cummins Mill community of Jackson County, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Bobby W. Bull; 3 Brothers: A.J. Chaffin, Hoover Chaffin, and Clorcie Chaffin; and 4 Sisters: Ermma Ballard, Eunice Hensley, Vaudie Hensley, and Agnes Gentry. Survivors include 4 Daughters: Patricia (Danny) Posey of Old Hickory, TN, Carolyn Robinson (Johnny) Russell of Gainesboro, TN, Debbie (Tim) Dobbs of Gainesboro, TN, and Janice (Tony) Reynolds of Smyrna, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Michael Posey, Anthony Phann, Angelia Allen, Kristy Brown, Tish Robinson, Misty Sinclair, Daniel Bull, Ashley Bull, and Austin Reynolds; and 12 Great Grandchildren: Hailey Allen, Austin Allen, Cason Allen, Elena Brown, Trajan Brown, Kaylyn Bull, Jade Bull, Ava Bull, Frankie Jo Bull, Brianna Bowman, Matthew Sinclair, and Morgan Sinclair.
