Mary Angel

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Angel, 72, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rash Cemetery in the Antioch community. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Angel passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born January 15, 1936, in Paducah, KY, to the late Max Edward and Audrey Opal Schoolcraft Tarry. On September 1, 1961, she was married to Leonard A. Angel, who survives. She was a cook at Mabry Health Care Center, and of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Daniel and David Phillips; and 2 Sisters: Betty Rzempala and Martha Wensco. Survivors include her Husband: Leonard A. Angel of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Lynne A. (Rickey) Flournoy of Gainesboro, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Rickey Flournoy II, Anthony Flournoy, Melissa Flournoy, Jody Buelher, Mary Ann Phillips, and Angela Phillips; 2 Great Grandchildren: Takoda Flournoy and Caiti Buelher; and 4 Sisters: Terry Coleman and Neola Lawyer, both of Michigan; Audrey Honeycutt of Texas; and Maxine Chave of Maryland.
