Mary Allen Woodard

Funeral services for Mary Ann Allen Woodard, 58, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 1, 2006, at the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Thursday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M. On Friday, visitation will be held at the church from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Woodard passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Smith County Memorial Hospital in Carthage, TN. She was born February 12, 1948, in Jackson County to Addie Lee Allen and the late Eulys Whit Allen. On October 26, 1985, she was married to Donald Lee Woodard, Jr., who survives. She was a home health nurse and a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 1 Cousin: Buck Allen. Survivors include her husband: Donald Lee Woodard, Jr. of the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Daughters: Tabitha Whittenburg of Gainesboro, TN and Mary Jo Cobb of New Albany, Mississippi; her mother: Addie Lee Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Dwight Lee Allen of Gainesboro, TN, and Randall Allen of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Sarah Bennett of Bethpage, TN; and 2 Grandchildren: Stephen Parker Cantrell and Stephanie Dianne Cantrell. .
