Marvin Martin

Marvin Martin was born November 28, 1953, in Cookeville, TN, and he passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Arvil C. Martin and Clennie Kiula Pippin West. He worked at Builders Supply, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Marvin Martin, Jr., Jason Lee Martin, and James Kendal Martin; 3 Brothers: Frank West, Billy Clyde West, and Jimmy Dale Martin; and 1 Sister: Annette Anderson. Survivors include 2 Brothers: Alton Edward West of Michigan, and Rellon Martin of Cookeville, TN; 3 Sisters: Juanita Martin of Bloomington Springs, TN, Lois Bilyeu of Baxter, TN, and Peggy Lewis of Cookeville, TN; Special Friend: Julie Sims of Cookeville, TN; and 3 Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sam Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Road in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Bro.
