Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jane Kendall, 79, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Kendall Cemetery on Harmony Road in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 30, 1939, in Nashville, TN, to the late Charles Lee Morphis and Hazel Richardson Morphis. On June 1, 1956, she was married to the late Loyd Taylor Kendall, who passed away March 5, 2013. She was a homemaker, and a loving mother and grandmother to many. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Brenda Gambrell; and 1 Grandson: Brad Kendall. Survivors include 2 Sons: David Kendall and Floyd Kendall, both of Nashville, TN; 1 Daughter: Barbara Tune of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Jimmy Morphis; and 1 Sister: Ruby Eatons.
