Martha Brown Loftis

Mrs. Martha Ann Brown Loftis, 67, of Silver Point, TN, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 P.M. until 4 P.M. She was born May 30, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late J.B. Brown and A.V. Johnson Brown. On February 15, 1975, she was married to Kenneth Edward Loftis, who survives. She was a housewife, and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Cora Elizabeth Garrett; and 2 Brothers: Gary Lee Brown and Ronnie Wayne Brown. Survivors include her Husband: Kenneth Edward Loftis; 1 Son: Robbin C. Loftis of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Daughter: Amanda Kathalean Elliott - Edwards of Silver Point, TN; 3 Grandchildren: William Perry Elliott III, Annabelle Elizabeth Elliott, and Kenneth Lee Edwards; 2 Brothers: Jerry Brown of Baxter, TN, and Ricky Brown of Baxter, TN; and 4 Sisters: Janice Haugk of Silver Point, TN, Versie Derossitt of Silver Point, TN, Margie Moore of Sparta, TN, and Mary Rodgers of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
