Mark Hansen

Mark Fredrick Hansen, age 65, passed away on September 26, 2023 in Cookeville, TN

Mr. Hansen, a resident of Lafayette, LA and he was the son of Ray Hansen and the former Patricia Horner. Born and raised in Indiana, Mark moved to Louisiana in 1981 to work for Chevron and retired in 2017. He loved to hunt & fish, and especially spending his time outdoors in Tennessee with his father. Mark was a down-to-earth man of simple tastes who loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Joanne Wright Hansen; father, Ray Hansen; sister, Kathryn Hansen Folse (Robert); sisters-in-law, Barbara Wright Aymond, Billie Wright Gueno (Jim), and Donna Miller Wright; brother-in-law, Dean Wright; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Horner Hansen.

Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church located at 302 S Main St. in Gainesboro at 1 pm.  A private interment will take place in Gainesboro, TN.
