Graveside services for Mrs. Marjie Swafford, 86, of Cleveland, TN, will be held at 5 P.M. on Friday, August 28, 2015, at the Byers Cemetery at 4112 Flynns Creek Road in Gainesboro, TN. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. She passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland, TN. She was born January 26, 1929, in Crab Orchard, TN, to the late Major Robinson and Ethel Robinson. On February 3, 1948, she was married to the late Willard S. Swafford. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church in Georgetown, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Farris Robinson. Survivors include 2 Sons: Greg (Dana) Swafford of Las Vegas, NV, and Robert (Jamie) Swafford of Chattanooga, TN; and 2 Daughters: Bobbi Jo (Ben) Brackett of Chattanooga, TN, and Karen (David) Cross of Cleveland, TN.
