Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Dill Mahaney, 83, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born September 6, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Carlen and Louisa Rush Dill. She was married to the late George "Buddy" Mahaney. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Danny Mahaney; 1 Infant Daughter: Connie Mahaney; and 1 Brother: Arvil C. Dill. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Carolyn Mahaney of Nashville, TN; 1 Grandson: Christopher Pratt of San Antonio, TX; 1 Granddaughter: Emily Mahaney of Celina, TN; and 1 Sister: Revene Hix of Gainesboro, TN.
