Margie Ballard Hensley

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Ballard Hensley, 94, of the Freewill community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, February 26, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 - 9 P.M., Sunday from 1 - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Hensley passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at her residence. She was born October 6, 1912, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Albert and Susie Martin Ballard. On January 26, 1928, she was married to the late William Quitman Hensley, who passed away on February 17, 1975. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ at Freewill. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Dallas Hensley; 1 Daughter: Hazel Robinson; 4 Infant Children; 2 Brothers: Lex Ballard and Louis Ballard; 2 Sisters: Icie Loftis and Ava Mansell; 2 Sons-in- Law: Hollis Robinson and Buddy Judd; and a special niece: Vodle Chaffin. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Carrol & Carlene Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Doice Mayberry and Loretta Judd, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Clorene Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; and her First Cousin: Nelly West of Algood, TN. 12 Grandchildren; 15 Great - Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. John Mabery, Bro. Jimmy Anderson, and Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
