Margarite Johnson Sullivan

Margarite Johnson Sullivan was born April 2, 1935, in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Celina Health and Rehab in Celina, TN, at the age of 88.

She was the daughter of the late Virgil Johnson and Lucille Henson Johnson. She was a homemaker and mother, and a member of the Morrison Creek Church of Christ. She was a resident of the Morrison Creek community of Jackson County, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Daughter: Diane Roberts; Grandson: Shawn Simms; Son in Law: Richard Sharp; as well as 1 Brother and 4 Sisters.

Survivors include her Sons: Donny (Kay) Sullivan of Gainesboro, TN, Randy (Lisa) Sullivan of Gainesboro, TN, and Paul Sullivan of Nashville, TN; Daughters: Valeri (David) Simms of Nashville, TN, Wanda Sharp of Gainesboro, TN, and Pachia (Richard) Sheridan of Gainesboro, TN; Son-in-law: Jeff Roberts of Cookeville, TN; Sisters: Eunice Bilbrey of Rickman, TN, and Lois Young of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Greg Henley, Leanne Delaney, Amber Foutaine, Tony Sullivan, Devon Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Kathie Hollis, and Josh Johnson; 11 Great Grandchildren; and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
