Funeral services for Mrs. Margarette Spivey, 83, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, May 9, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Spivey passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2007, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 4, 1924, in Narrows, VA, to the late Stewart Alfred Wolfe and Nannie H. Clyburn Wolfe. On October 19, 1956, she was married to the late Odus P. Spivey, who passed away March 18, 2007. She was a secretary for a coal company. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Thomas, Luther, Earl, and Stewart Wolfe; and 1 Sister. Survivors include 1 Son: Dean H. Spivey of Las Vegas, NV; 3 Grandchildren: Corey Spivey of Sterling Heights, MI, Robert Spivey of Madison Heights, MI, and Lee Spivey of Selmar, OR; and 3 Great - Grandchildren: Bobby Spivey, Taylee Spivey, and Devin Spivey.
