Margaret Waltz Roark

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Waltz Roark, 91, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow at 3:30 P.M. in Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Hermitage, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010, at NHC Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born in Emboden, VA, to the late Harry Chalmers and Hassie Mabel Waltz. On July 24, 1934, she was married to the late Omar C. Roark. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Thomas M. Roark; 2 Brothers; 2 Sisters; and 1 Grandchild: John Kevin Roark. Survivors include 2 Sons: Johnny Mack (Betty) Roark of Arizona, and Don (Floy) Roark of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren; 24 Great-Grandchildren; and 7 Great- Great Grandchildren.
