Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret S. Apple, 90, of Baxter, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, February 7, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Welch Cemetery in Monterey, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 5 P. M., and on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011, at her residence. She was born September 13, 1920, in Monterey, TN, to the late Cain and Maggie Stephens. On July 23, 1978, she was married to Charlie Apple, who survives. She was a department store sales person, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Cookeville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Steven Norrod; 1 Sister: Jo Edith Fox; and her First Husband: Dayron Norrod. Survivors include her Husband: Charlie Apple of Baxter, TN; 1 Step - Son: James E. (Tricia) Apple of Baxter, TN; 2 Step - Daughters: Elizabeth Ann Apple Moles of Hermitage, TN, and Carolyn Apple Allison Moore and husband, Charlie, of Mt. Juliet, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Baylea Norrod O'Brien of Billings, Montana; 6 Step - Grandchildren: Tommy Dale (Regina) Apple, Stephen (Jill) Moles, Dale (Jean Marie) Moles, Billy (Jennifer) Clemmer, Jason (Becky) Allison, and Tammy (David, Jr.) Stanfield; 2 Sisters: Johnnie Norton and Mildred Williams;and 16 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
