Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Lee Philpot, 54, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, June 5, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Philpot passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born November 7, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, to Ogle and Pauline Trisdale. On January 23, 1980, she was married to Roy Philpot, who survives. She was the head teller at Bank East in Gainesboro, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. Survivors include her Husband: Roy Philpot of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Ross (Ginger) Philpot of Atlanta, GA; her Parents: Ogle and Pauline Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: James Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Connie (Patrick) Ryan of Cookeville, TN. Several uncles, aunts, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Dan Huffines will officiate at the services.
