Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Stafford, 85, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 8, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James F. Brown and Margie Ann Brown. On June 16, 1951, she was married to the late Eugene Stafford. She was a factory worker at Heavy Duty and Crotty, and was a member of the Free State Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Bobby Gene Stafford and Danny Lee Stafford; 3 Brothers: Edward Brown, Joe Clyde Brown, and James Leonard Brown; and 1 Sister: Doris Meadows. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Brenda Peek of Gainesboro, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Toni Scantland, Amy Avent, Heather Stimits, Daniel Stafford, Matt Stafford, and Andy Stafford; 10 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Albert Brown of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Daughter in Law: Kim Stafford of Gainesboro, TN.
