Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Scott, 70, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Scott passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born February 22, 1939, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Raymond and Ruby Mayberry. On July 22, 1954, she was married to Mitchell Scott, who survives. She was a factory worker and a member of the Dodson Branch Southern Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: James Mayberry. Survivors include her Husband: Mitchell Scott of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County; 1 Son: Roger (Sandra Denise) Scott of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County; 3 Grandchildren: Tamara Dabbs, Tosha Scott, and Tana Scott; 1 Great Granddaughter: Kayah Dabbs; 6 Brothers: Charles (Delma) Mayberry, Aaron (Ronella) Mayberry, Roscoe Mayberry, Ray (Linda) Mayberry, Mike (Lisa) Mayberry, and Dennis (Lisa) Mayberry, all of Cookeville, TN; and 5 Sisters: Rose (G.T.) Scantlan, Juanita (Nathan) Judd, Shirley Kinnaird, Sandra Stewart, and Cathy (Roger) Payne all of Cookeville, TN. Pastor Jim Phillips will officiate at the services.
